There is a critical lack of housing in the entire Upper Peninsula.
Currently we are working with developers on 5 mixed use projects that would create 37 new housing units in the Keweenaw Peninsula in the next 12-24 months.

Since Northern Light's inception, we have been collaborating with economic & housing advocacy agencies such as the Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance (KEDA), Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), Houghton County Lank Bank, MTEC SmartZone, the Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC), various local and regional governmental agencies, and other dedicated partners to assist and provide quality design and educational services (incentives) to local developers in order to construct financially feasible housing and other much needed developments. We also service commercial, industrial and institutional clients, with extensive experience in historical rehabilitation and adaptive reuse
